In the Room
Wroxall Abbey Estate is quite impressive and definately had the wow factor when me and my partner first arrived. We stayed in the Court which is not as impressive as the main manison house itself but still the rooms were nice and comfortable. We were very impressed with the hotel staff who were very nice and made us feel very welcome. I would definately recommend this as the hotel and staff were lovely, we had a peaceful and relaxing stay and also it's not too far from local attractions such as Warwick Castle.
Noises of nearby rooms and air cond device
The setting a very interesting place
This is a lovely hotel and one we hope to return to soon. It is in a great out of town location and very peaceful. I particularly liked the comfortable mattress and feather duvet and the cooked to order breakfast!
The supper - i.e. roast turkey was missing the trimmings.
The Spa facility
The lift was slow, small, and slightly claustrophobic
The position and history
Felt it needed updating and attention to detail. ie. bath side coming off, would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room, telly was old and positioned too high so not easy to control.
We were given room 66 the Love suite, it was absolutley stunning
The hotel was very near where we needed to be that night- it was lovely to come back for a nightcap and go into the residents' bar to have someone playing the grand piano!
There was a lot of noise, I think from the heating system, which awoke us very early on Sunday morning.
Loved having use of the pool, jacuzzi etc. Food delicious too
Room smaller than expected, few children in pool at one time
Gorgeous hotel, very nice receptions staff. My first room was rather small but I moved to a bigger room without any questions. Very enjoyable and pleasant stay. I will most definitely return to this hotel!
Everything was perfect.
Very beautiful surroundings, lovely building with lots of land, friendly welcoming staff and spacious comfortable rooms.
Slightly expensive, but good service and quality for the money
The bathroom in our room had a bath and a separate double shower. The pool area was very relaxing
The building was a mansion house but for me there was too much furniture in the bedroom and lots of old chairs in the passageways but I am sure this was in keeping with the building.
Excellent environment - delightful architecture and lots of old world charm but shame about the tiny rooms which were very expensive
Cost of the stabndard room and size of the room - too small for that price
quite peaceful location
booked superior room. It was adequate but there was nothing apparently superior about it and it lacked any "superior touches"
very comfy rooms, lovely views from mansion, spa lovely for relaxation, fantastic food at restaurant.
leisure club could do with redecoration.
